    2026    a zine about public bathroom use and watersports and transness and diy photographic processes and the cultural weight of filth. collage-based, combining scans of vintage porn magazines (mostly waterboys, but some drummer, bound & gagged, etc.) found in the tom of finland foundation archives with 35mm photos shot by me and processed in urine-based film developer.

    created during my residency at the tom of finland foundation in los angeles, california, with production assistance from the mattazine society.

    2024    a fragmented record of halifax’s citadel hill as both a military garrison and crusing grounds. the colonial past haunting the colonial present, all histories entangled in the soil.

    left: 100ft snippets of 16mm film laid out across the ground in the middle of the night,     covered in dirt, and exposed via flashlight, moonlight, and ambient street light. partially buried in the same soil for several months, the earth slowly eroding the emulsion until only fragments of the frame remain. histories unearthed and unmade; the land (re)harvesting the light.

    2024     bodily orifices photographed with a lubed-up macro probe lens, abstracted to the point of near-illegibility. an exercise in obfuscation and refutation.

    a body that cannot be read is a body that cannot be contained by rhetoric.

    clear acrylic, steel eyebolts, fine iron chain.
    2024     drawing on georges bataille’s writings connecting erotic experience to psychic self-rupture, this work explores the breaking of skin as an alternative form of sexual penetration.

    hand-bound in soft black leather, the skin that envelops the body of the text is bound at all corners to a makeshift plinth with fine metal chain. set low to the ground, the installation invites the viewer to kneel before it in an act of purposeful submission.
